VIDEO: Baltimore Mayor Invites Public for a Swim in the Harbor

Take a dip in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor? Most wouldn’t consider such a thing, given its reputation for urban runoff, litter and historically poor water quality. City leaders missed their ambitious goal to make the Inner Harbor swimmable by 2020.

But in 2023, several areas around the harbor have improved enough to be consistently safe for swimming.
