VIDEO: Potomac Riverkeeper Network Sues Navy Over Weapons Testing in Water

A new legal case pits the U.S. Navy against a riverkeeper organization. The Potomac Riverkeeper Network says it’s long been concerned about the weapons testing that happens on the Potomac—and the rockets watermen sometimes find in the water.

The riverkeeper organization wants the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division to get a Clean Water Act permit, especially now that Dahlgren has plans to expand weapons testing areas. Cheryl Costello has the action just taken to fight those plans. Watch below:
