Don't Stop Believin': Md. Seafood Festival Channels Journey

The Maryland Seafood Festival is back at Sandy Point State Park for 2018, and if you come for the seafood, you should stay for the bands and fireworks.

Journey tribute band Scarab and fireworks cap off Saturday night at the Maryland Seafood Festival.

The 51st annual Seafood Festival is Saturday September 8 and Sunday September 9. While more than 20,000 festival-goers chow down on crab cakes, oysters, crab soup, and more, a lineup of five bands will take to the main stage on Saturday, and four on Sunday.

Festival organizers say a musical highlight will be Scarab, a Journey tribute band playing Saturday night. And immediately following their set, the night will be capped by a fireworks display over the Bay.

Chesapeake Bay Magazine is a proud sponsor of the Maryland Seafood Festival. Come find us at our beachside cabana and say hello!
