The Battleship Wisconsin, docked at Nauticus in Norfolk, Va, brings the first annual Fins on the Fantail celebrating the music of the iconic Jimmy Buffett

Battleship Wisconsin Hosts Buffett Tribute Concert

The battleship Wisconsin transforms itself into Margaritaville for a Jimmy Buffett experience like no other.

You don’t have to be a dad to attend Fins on the Fantail over Father’s Day Weekend, but if your dad is a Parrot head, there’s absolutely no better gift.

The maritime discovery center Nauticus invites you to Margaritaville on Saturday, June 15, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. The historic battleship Wisconsin will transform itself into the world’s largest beach bar with themed drinks, food vendors, games, and much more. It all unfolds on the fantail of the largest and last battleship built by the U.S. Navy. The classic Buffett tribute band Tiki Bar will perform Buffett’s classic hits and lesser-know fan favorites starting at 5:30pm.

The event is for 21+ and general admission tickets are just $20 ($30 at the door). All proceeds will support the youth sailing experiences provided by Sail Nauticus out of Norfolk.

The Wisconsin is one of the largest and last battleships built by the U.S. Navy. Launched on December 7, 1943, she has served during three wartimes and has earned six battle stars and the Navy Unit Commendation for service during the first Gulf War.
