VIDEO: Upper Bay Youth Clean Endangered Turtle Site Just in Time for Nesting Season

The Northern map turtle is endangered in Maryland, and happens to lay its eggs at a particular park in Port Deposit, Md., on the banks of the Susquehanna. Hatching time is less than a week away, but the nesting area was littered with trash. Volunteers swooped in just in time, and Cheryl Costello was there for their massive cleanup effort.
