VIDEO: Sea Glass Festival Visitors Double at New Location

Trash washed up on the shore becomes treasure, when sea glass artists get hold of it. Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum hosted this year’s Sea Glass and Coastal Arts Festival at its waterfront campus for the first time. And moving from a venue further inland was a glass-smashing success: festival visitors doubled this year.

Cheryl Costello was among the 9,000 festival-goers, and gives Bay Bulletin a look at the inspired art and a new museum exhibit, Beach Finds, that made its debut.
