VIDEO: Sailing Camp for Different Learners Builds Confidence

Many Chesapeake Bay kids have fond memories of going to sailing camp at some point in childhood, but there’s one camp that’s designed for a special kind of student.

Brendan Sailing, in its 34th year, runs sailing camps geared towards kids and teens with learning differences. They go to camp not just to learn their way around a sailboat, but also to gain valuable social skills and self-confidence. Cheryl Costello went out on the water with campers to see those lessons firsthand.
