VIDEO: Rediscovered Historic Schoolhouse Moved to Colonial Williamsburg

The nation’s oldest surviving school (1760) built to educate Black children deserves a place of honor. But until 2021, the Williamsburg Bray School was standing in relative obscurity on the campus of William & Mary. On Friday it was moved—slowly and carefully—to Colonial Williamsburg’s historic area.
