It’s something a riverkeeper never wants to see: a tucked-away cove filled with a massive pile of trash from urban stormwater runoff. Dozens of rusty shopping carts, tires, and more form what’s now being called “Trash Island”. Cheryl Costello hiked out to see it firsthand, and learn what can be done about it. Watch below:
