Triple Creek Vineyards hosted the Chesapeake Bay Balloon & Wine Festival in Cordova, Talbot County last weekend.
The self-proclaimed largest hot-air balloon festival in Maryland sent colorful balloons up, up and away, with tethered rides and a “mass ascension.” Some balloons even landed on nearby farms.
Saturday afternoon drew a large crowd to watch the balloons take off. Below, see the balloon “Yellow Jacket/Caterpillar” in action:
The Balloon & Wine Festival also featured a partially-inflated balloon for exploring on the ground, kids’ activities, and a demonstration for teens on how hot air balloons work.
