Harriet Tubman Visitor Center Opening

The new Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor Center is the trailhead for exploring the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Byway and National Park. The park was established in 2014 to protect the landscapes and locations important to Tubman’s life. The new complex includes a legacy garden, walking trails, a gift shop, research library and picnic pavilion. Church Creek, Md. 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
