Tawes Crab and Clam Bake

The 41st Annual J. Millard Tawes Crab and Clam Bake will draw in hundreds of people hungry for steamed clams, freshly fried fish, corn on the cob, juicy watermelon and, of course, local Maryland blue crabs. The event is known as one of Maryland’s most prominent seafood events and traditionally welcomes many Maryland politicians and political conversation, especially during election years. At last year’s event, Governor Hogan made a special appearance. The festival also features music, cold beer, souvenirs and entertainment.
