Cobia Boats has updated its time-tested 217 center-console with a new deck layout and added features for a more fishable and even more comfortable boat. The hull’s sharp entry, forward flare and variable deadrise (22 degrees) has proven to be a popular shape for performance and family comfort. Adding an insulated fishbox and under-gunwhale rod storage makes sense for the avid angler. New custom snap-in cushions make is easier on family and guests. The company also redesigned the hardtop to provide more overhead storage and sun protection. As before, the tall console hides an ample porta-potty space. A molded seat aft with a flip-up backrest covers a convenient battery and fuel shut-off valve compartment.

Fuel capacity is nearly 90 gallons. Dry weight without the engine is just under 3,000 pounds. The boat can handle up to 250 horsepower and comes standard with a Yamaha F150 at a MSRP of $47,342. Add it all up and this could be another winner for this Maverick Boat Group product.
