VIDEO: Mussels Flex Their Muscles on the Magothy

Dark false mussels are cropping up in great numbers on the Magothy River for the first time in 14 years. The Magothy River Association is calling it a mussel explosion, and they say it can be a sign of really good water quality. Bay Bulletin’s Cheryl Costello gives us a close look at these tiny but mighty bivalves.
