Oasis Marinas to Manage Potomac River's Hope Springs Marina

Hope Springs Marina, on Aquia Creek off the Potomac River, is under new management as of October 1. Oasis Marinas will carry out day-to-day activities, boat service, fuel and retail services, maintenance, and marketing.

The marina in Stafford, Virginia has indoor storage for 300 boats, slips for 180 vessels, a beach and clubhouse. There is an on-site convenience store and a fitness center. Hope Springs also has slide-off, drive-on “jet ports” for easy access to jet skis.

Oasis, a marina management company founded in Baltimore in 2014, has set its sights on expanding its presence on the Potomac River.

“The marina is conveniently located in between our Washington, D.C. and Colonial Beach properties, making it a great stop for our boaters cruising up and down the Potomac River,” says Dan Cowens, founder of Oasis Marinas.

Oasis manages 13 marinas, 12 of them on the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries.
