Countdown to Baltimore Boat Show's "Super Thursday"

It’s now just over a week until the Progressive Baltimore Boat Show kicks off, and if you’re looking for the best deals of the show, you’ll want to be there on the first day.

Thursday, January 25 is “Super Thursday” at the show, when businesses will offer more than two dozen different deals, from tax-free boat purchases to discounted electronics and free giveaways. If you go to the show Thursday after 5 p.m., adult tickets are only $5. And all day Thursday, seniors 65 years and older get $2 off tickets at the box office.

Whether you’re a Super Thursday early bird, or you come to the show later in the weekend, be sure to take advantage of Chesapeake Bay Magazine’s free seminars for all different kinds of boaters.

On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, meet one of CBM‘s most seasoned cruisers, Jody Argo Schroath, for discussions on cruising and navigating the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW). Argo Schroath, a cruising editor and experienced liveaboard boater will talk about the joys and the pitfalls of this famous inland waterway.

Argo Schroath will hold seminars Thursday, January 25 at 2p.m., Friday, January 26 at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 27 at 1 p.m. To read about the other boating seminars we’re hosting, click here.

A parking note for anyone making plans to attend the Boat Show: While event parking is available most days at Lot C of Camden Yards/M&T Bank Stadium, with a free shuttle to the show at the Baltimore Convention Center, stadium parking will NOT be available on Saturday January 27. You’ll want to take public transportation, or make other plans to get to the show on Saturday. For more information about parking and shuttles, click here.
